These Regulations came into force on 1 January 2023 and are now the current Drinking Water Quality Regulations for Scotland. These regulations amend the 2014 Regulations to reflect the requirements of the recast Drinking Water Directive (Directive (EU) 2020/2184 ) and introduce standards for a number of new parameters.
